A Community Exhibition Showcasing the Artists of Greensboro
Artists in the Greensboro Area are invited to submit any type of art... literally anything that you are dreaming up!
A painting, a sculpture, a dance, a play, sheet music, a book, a poem, a movie, a video, your mailbox, your tax return, the dream you had last night, an abstract puppet show, the soil from your backyard, a plant you’re taking care of, the sketch you made while planning your yard design, the doodle you made while talking to your mom on the phone, the fortune teller you made during recess with your buddy, the blinds that your dog broke, your flat tire, a recipe you just invented or the one you cooked last night.
If it’s art to you, it’s art to us!
$10 submission fee per art work submitted (If you’re a CVA member, your first piece is free!)
In our spacious, modern gallery on the 2nd floor of the Greensboro Cultural Center, we focus on providing exhibits that fulfill one or more of these goals:
Provide local artists opportunities to show and sell their work
Expose artists and the general public to artwork that informs, educates, and/or challenges them
Encourage local artists to collaborate with one another and develop their professional and artistic skills
Provide a platform for individual local artists to move onto greater exposure and success
Along with well-thought-out exhibitions, we provide artist-focused discussions and workshops, networking opportunities for artists and art lovers, and pop-up workshops in a variety of media. We seek to facilitate growth and professional development for local-area artists, strengthen bonds between the CVA and the local community, and encourage the public to engage with the visual arts.
