CVA is currently getting ready for a camp titled Crayos and Clayos. This camp, for the 5-7 age group, deals with the making of simple, but exquisite creations using the wax from crayons and clay. In order to obtain and use the wax from the crayons, they have to be melted down. The coordinators of CVA required a handful of volunteers including myself to collect all of the nubby crayons from each classroom and peel the paper off of them, so they could be melted. This was no easy task. It took a team effort to get all of the crayons peeled, and it took more time than we all thought it would. But in the end, the job got done, and the crayons are officially ready to be melted. SUCCESS!!!
