Art in the Afternoon is our after-school program for K-6th grade students. Each afternoon includes a lesson from our visual art curriculum, free creating time, and outdoor play (weather permitting). Lessons vary, including drawing and painting, ceramics and sculpture, printmaking, collaborative art-making, digital media, and much more. Occasional field trips to artist studios or other venues add to the excitement. We are proud to be an after-school program of choice for The Experiential School of Greensboro.
Registration fee - $30 per family for new registrants
We are on the GCS public school bus route for Lindley Elementary students.
LuRoo’s transportation provides safe, reliable van transport from schools on request by parents. Additional fees apply.
Join us on teacher workdays and school holidays for art-filled days of creative exploration. Your child will draw, paint, sculpt, and play all day. Typically, we have a theme for each day, and students explore art-making around that theme (superheroes, community art, beach days, graphics and design, etc.).
Be sure to dress for mess, and pack a lunch and snack!
