Don’t forget about our special meet and greet for the CVA’s Summer Art Camp 2010! If you are interested in participating for the first time or have been in CVA camps before - join us this Friday, May 7, 2010 from 3pm - 6pm to meet our summer staff and instructors, take a peak at our studios, and check out a few sample art activities. 4th floor of the Cultural Center.

Stay for May’s First Friday and visit the CVA Gallery for the Opening Reception of ‘SIZE matters‘ exhibition, from 6 - 9pm. 2nd floor of the Cultural Center.

The Summer 2010 Newsletter is available on the Education webpages for Children and Adult/Teens. The newsletter includes summer class offerings, exhibition information, and upcoming events. Don’t miss out on all of the fun at the CVA this summer!

 Summer Art Camps are also filling up quickly - register this month to secure your space!

The next CVA Gallery Exhibition SIZE MATTERS (a small work/ big work art exhibition) is open to all current paid Exhibiting Members.  Small artwork, including frame and/or base must be under 12 inches (1 foot) in any dimension.  Big artwork, including frame and/or base must be over 5 feet in any dimension.  Work in all mediums welcome.  There is no entry fee for current paid Exhibiting Members.  Artists may enter up to four small pieces or up to two big pieces of work.  Drop off days: April 24 & 25.  Opening Reception, FIRST Friday May 7, 6 -9pm.  Please click on link below for more details & to download prospectus.
