Alter Ego: As artists we often explore ourselves through our artwork.  A self-portrait is a conscious and deliberate journey of self-discovery.  This exhibition examines all aspects of those identities, and expresses that exploration and subsequent reckoning visually.  Artists are invited to submit work investigating various modes of representing the self.  While the traditional medium of paint on canvas is acceptable, unexpected media and unanticipated interpretations are encouraged.

Original work in all media is welcome and must be completed in the past 24 months.  There is no fee for current CVA exhibiting members. ($40 fee for Non-members-includes annual membership)  All work must be for sale and the CVA will determine the final selection of work exhibited in the show.  Please download prospectus for additional details and dates.
